Aristos Logic Secures $18 Million In Funding
Investment from Infineon Technologies AG provides additional momentum
to the leading developer of silicon solutions for networked storage

Foothill Ranch, California - March 5, 2001 -Aristos Logic announced today that it has raised a total of $18 million in funding since its inception. The financing was received from Infineon Technologies AG, one the world's leading semiconductor suppliers headquartered in Munich, Germany. $9.2 million of the total was an equity investment, provided to the company last calendar year, the balance is being provided between now and July of this year. The company intends to use the funding to continue aggressive development of FibreSlice™, it's flagship product for the networked storage market.

Aristos Logic was incorporated in February 2000 and was spun off from Western Digital Corporation, a leading supplier of hard disk drives.
